The main floor features giant log posts and beams and an oversized stone fireplace. Extra large kitchen fully stocked with cooking utensils and vessels, spices, linens, cleaning supplies (plus dishwasher) and china service for 10. Sled-in Sled-out. The snow is great - Finally. You are going to want to cook and bake forever when you get into this kitchen. It has a brand spanking new stove and ceramic cooktop. Gorgeous and so fun to use. Big big island in the center of the room - perfect for making cookies. On the other side of the island is a formal dining table with 6 chairs. This is a big kitchen. It is not crowded at all. The kitchen has a toaster, a drip coffee maker (we have filters), a griddle, every pot and/or pan you will need as well as cooking utensils including pizza cutter, wine opener, etc. One of the kitchen drawers is dedicated to BBQ utensils for the gas grill just off the kitchen (we have propane). Panguitch Lake, 8,209' lies approximately 30 miles west of Bryce Canyon National Park smack in the middle of Dixie National Forest. “Big Fish” is the English name for Panguitch which comes from the Paiute (Native American) language. The Lakeside Deck is undoubtedly a favorite space with its built-in BBQ and food preparation space, wooden log swings, picnic tables and spacious footprint. With a clear view of the lake to the north, it’s the best spot to watch the sun rise in the morning or set in the evening. The Outdoor Fire Pit easily attracts people (and marshmallows) with plenty of bench seating, a wood-burning pit and a view of Panguitch Lake. The Kitchen will make a gourmet cook feel right at home. It’s equipped with a 6-burner commercial gas range and oven, an second oven, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, pots & pans, plates, cups, preparation knives and cutlery. The Living & Dining Room are an integrated space with two story ceilings and picture windows that face the lake. With couches, chairs, a dining set and fireplace hearth, there’s plenty of space to relax or chat. The Game Room is a relaxing social space for adults or a clubhouse to entertain kids. It’s furnished with a 65” flat screen TV with satellite, regulation billiards table, several board games, bistro table and chairs, couches and a propane stove (in case the heat of competition doesn’t keep you warm). The Loft is a cozy place to nestle with a book or chat with others. It’s nearly self-contained with a wet-bar, mini-fridge, independent audio system, glassware, bean bag, rocking chair and pull-out couch that can sleep two. The Laundry Room is rightfully the most underutilized space in the lodge. Who wants to do laundry when relaxation and adventure beckon? Nonetheless, there’s a front-loading washer and dryer if needed. Bedroom 1 is upstairs and furnished with two full (double-size) beds and plenty of storage. It shares the adjacent full-bath with bedroom 2. Bedroom 2 can sleep 7 more upstairs with two sets of twin-sized double-bunk beds and one triple-bunk plus plenty of storage. It shares the adjacent full-bath with bedroom 1. Bedrooms 3, 4 & 5 each have a king-size bed (4 & 5 have new purple mattresses), ensuite full-baths and walk-in closets. One is located on the main floor, and the other two are downstairs. Bedroom 6 is within the detached garage structure. It has a queen-size bed, ensuite full-bath, built-in storage and wood-burning stove (in case the room’s gas furnace feels too modern and convenient).
